Strong Families
Better Jobs
Education First

I plan to go to the State Legislature, ask the tough questions, build consensus and champion good solutions to make Nebraska even better.

Having been involved in the Lincoln community for over 30 years, I have long worked for positive change.

I have always been concerned about issues affecting families, education and jobs.

I want to bring an energizing perspective to the Nebraska Legislature.

I believe I can raise this dedication to the next level as your State Senator.

  • I bring more than 30 years of experience working for families as Executive Director of the YWCA and a wide variety of other community organizations throughout my career.
  • I have the leadership it takes to build concensus in the legislature to create good jobs.  I will work to build public-private relationships to increase our prospects for economic development in Nebraska.
  • Working in the Lincoln Public Schools for the past four years has reinforced my conviction that it all starts with education, so I will make education a top priority.  The future of Nebraska lies in our ability to provide a quality education for every child.
